As a great start to 2011, we’re really happy to announce that Daniel Crenna has joined Wildbit to help lead Postmark. I first met Daniel almost a year ago when we were running the Postmark beta. He bribed us for an invite by creating the official .NET library for Postmark, which impressed us a lot. I remember thinking that it would be awesome to hire him at some point.

Daniel has contributed to a lot of open source projects and even maintains some of his own, including Hammock and TweetSharp. You can see more on his Github account.

Daniel will be working on the API and overall architecture as well as leading the product development. We have a lot planned and Daniel is a big part of it. Daniel is also our first employee in the same time zone (from Ottawa, Ontario) as Natalie and I, which will offer a nice balance in our technical staff when it comes to supporting customers in many time zones.
